I find Coney Island a tough location to work in if you're there at the wrong time of day. Lots of great subjects theoretically, but at the wrong time of the day they can come out almost as silhouettes. I think it's augmented by all the open sky -- nothing really softens the direct sunlight, and there's no large Manhattan glass buildings to reflect and round out the lighting.

damn, this is one of my favorite sets of yours yet... great composition on all of them. I like that blurred black and white the best. The first one and the Cyclone shot are also up there.
